ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005HA-PU1X

Pros: Light, compact, excellent battery life. Wireless N is fantastic to have in such a small package. Handles everything I've thrown at it aside from streaming HD video; it stutters pretty significantly when I do.

Cons: Gets quite hot while running, and when the cooling fan runs it sounds like my computer is about to taxi and take off.

After three months, my A/C adapter died randomly. I've been in contact with Asus since late November regarding this issue and still do not have a replacement adapter. No matter who is to blame on the Asus side it is absurd that I should wait two months for resolution on such a minor issue.

I am amazed at how bad the Asus customer service has been; my experience has been frustrating enough that I will definitely not be purchasing any more Asus products in the future. The product itself is great but the after-sale support is unacceptably poor.
